Primary School English Courses
Our Primary school English Courses (years 1-6) cover all the English skills required for school. Every primary level course includes the teaching of reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, spelling, writing and editing skills. Every second week in years 3-6, there is a focus on English related thinking skills that are necessary for the OC Test and Selective High School Placement Test. Each term we focus on several types of writing (known as text types or genres). This focus benefits students as it allows them to have consistent practice in developing in-depth knowledge and skills in each written form. We have found this is a very successful way for students to gain mastery in different written forms.
